She had to have been from down east. No way was she from the Triangle, where I lived for many years, lol. Oh, and one more thing. I don't use the word critters. I use the normal words, like insects, spiders, bugs, etc. I have never heard anyone say critters before tonight

To me, critters = deer, moose, groundhogs, rabbits...basically, anything somewhat sizeable with at least four legs that can't be a household pet or a farm animal. Anyway, yeah; she was quite annoying. Good lawd.

Some folks had mentioned her accent sounded more like one from Kentucky or Tennesse. I kinda agree...it had a bit more pf that twang rahter than the drawl that the Carolinas have.
And yeah, 'critter' to me is something small, wild and four legged. Squirrels, mice, rabbits, etc.

And just when I think they've reached rock bottom with weird/annoying contestants, someone hands them a shovel, lol.

Heh. Well Monday's guy should be a good contestant. Nice change from someone like the 'creeter' lady.

Absolutely! Now he's exactly the kind of person who deserves to win big. Please don't screw this up, NBC!

I'm speechless. I felt so bad after watching this episode. Hopefully, like Brooks, he'll get a chance to come back and play again. I do wish he had taken the deal, not because it was the "wise" thing to do or whatever, because he deserved $302,000.

Guys: Because the West Coast hasn't seen the episode yet, I had to add a SPOILER tag to the first post. Next time, please keep this in mind before coming on here to post this kind of thing, okay?

S P O I L E R S P A C E Gee, I thought the whole game was going to be on the lawn. But it was kinda cute. I did notice that without the stand, a couple of the models couldn't peek in their cases and smiled even though they had big amounts. Then they looked and had an 'uh-oh' expression. I wish I had a chance to grab some screenshots of the models in their shades. I dunno why...I think having an icon of a model with shades on would be cute for the summer. (And for the journal sake, a screenshot of the Banker's limo. Bragging you know what! *g*) Anyway...I did miss when the contestant knocked out the 500k case. But, she pushed her luck too far. Way to go. she tied Brooks in his first outing. Second contestant has some bad luck so far. But he's likable. I hope his game will turn around for him.

Judging by the preview that they had for the next episode, it looks like the guy does really well, which is cool And I thought the same thing about the woman. Why even bother going to her house if they're not going to play the whole game there?!? And yes, I was fooled yet again by NBC when Howie said that after the first break they would be going to "his house". I thought they actually meant his house, lol. Silly me

You know, given the crazy things the show has done, it wouldn't have surprised me if they went to his house. (Or maybe...like his childhood home. I mean, for his own personal safety, they might not take strangers to where he currently lives, you know?)
