They used to be number 1. But honestly, many of their shows are lacking now. I do also watch Heroes on NBC (that was the only show other than DoND to get ratings.)

Well, NBC didn't fool me this time! ;D In the past, they would have previews for the next episode, acting like the contestant did really well. I didn't fall for it this time, though. I figured she'd screw up somewhere, and indeed she did. Although I must say, she did have guts. I would've never thought she would, but to turn down $239,000 is something. But, she was willing to gamble, and you have to be if you want to win the million. Next week's episode looks great! I'm already ready for it! ;D
It was pretty remarkable how long she kept all of the big numbers in play. At one point, it was the best board that I have ever seen. But, it didn't work out for her. And, it's just further proof of how quickly things can change. You can have the best board in the history of the show, but end up winning less than $100,000.

Was once the beautiful Case #9, but then who knows. NBC might bring back the primetime version.

I've done it too - mostly when '24' has two hour episodes. Oh guess what? Buzzerblog is reporting DoND's 100th show will be airing on May 6th. Among one of the special things to happen - Brooks Leach (ya know, that dude from Arkansas that left with 10 bucks?) will get a chance to play again. Source: buzzerblog.flashgameshows.com/?p=984 CORRECTION I found this on 4-30-07 BUZZERBLOG. The "Deal or No Deal" 100th Episode will air on Monday, May 7th at 8:00 p.m. EST; not Sunday, May 6th as what BUZZERBLOG reported back in April 19th.

Yeah, I noticed that when I watched DoND on Monday. (I got to see it after all.)
I guess since Monday is their higher rated night, they would want to save the speical episode for then. It does appear Sunday's episode is new as well, though it's on at 8pm instead of 9 according to the schedule on NBC's website.

Well, tonight's episode sucked royally If anyone deserves to win big money, it's the woman from New Orleans they had on. I've been through a couple of hurricanes, but nothing near as bad as what Katrina did to the Gulf coast. I can't imagine losing everything, and having to move to a completely new area. I felt horrible for her, and I know I'm not the only one. I will say, though, that I give her a ton of credit for being able to laugh toward the end of her game. If it was me up there, winning only $1, then I would be so upset that NBC would have no choice but to not air it, lol. And, if that wasn't enough, the next contestant they have come up is a guy who thinks he's hot %^$# when he's quite obviously not. Now he's a perfect example of someone who doesn't deserve to win big, and it doesn't look like he will. The most he can win is $100,000, and I doubt he'll get that, as bad as his game was going. Ah well, such is life on a game show. Bring on tomorrow night's episode! ;D

Oh gosh yes. I taped it, as I was watching the TAR finale. That lady had really bad luck. What are the odds of knocking out 4 huge amounts in a row? I really felt bad for her.
If anyone should be allowed to try again, she should have. Not Brooks. He pushed his luck too far. The lady tonight hit a bad string of luck.
If there's any solice, at least Clorox will be giving $100,000 to the Red Cross.

You know, after seeing tonight's episode, I'd have to agree. I would love to see her play another game and win big so she could move back to New Orleans

She definitely deserves another shot. I mean, really. Brooks, while a fun guy (IMO), doesn't deserve another shot.

I've seen pics from the first game of last night, and that was extraordinary bad luck.

Well, what can I say? They celebrated Deal's 100th episode, and congrats to everyone who helps to bring us this great NBC hit! ;D Unfortunately, things didn't fare better for Brooks in his second game. He only won $400, but this time, it wasn't for being too greedy, like some have said about his first game. He just had extraordinarily bad luck, and of course, #18, Marissa, had the $1,000,000. There's a reason that I call her Ms. Evil She almost always has a big number, it's crazy! And she's the one who had the $500,000 in game 1, which was the only big number left. Poor Brooks just had awful luck tonight, and it just goes to show that no matter what they're celebrating, it will never guarantee a great night. And you could tell that the models and pretty much everyone felt for the guy. How couldn't you? He may have been too greedy in game 1, but greed was not the enemy this time. Bad luck bit him hard, and no one is immune to it, even those who truly deserve big money. This was just not the exciting night on Deal that I was hoping it would be, but that's life sometimes. I'm ready to move on to next Monday's new episode

OK, first off, that woman was super annoying tonight I'm originally from North Carolina, and people from there do NOT sound like that. Did you hear the rest of her family and friends? They didn't have anywhere near the voice that she had. I'm now ashamed to be from North Carolina, because she did not represent the state well at all. Now, everyone is going to think that the only people from that state are southern hicks That woman could've left with the penny and I still wouldn't have been satisfied. Actually, I take that back. I would've been thrilled ;D

Hah...she was really annoying. I love it when Claudia holds the million, it's only happened like 3 times. Next week's episode looks really exciting, that guy is famous for jumping into the New York City subway tracks and saving someone. I hope he wins big.

I don't recall ever seeing him in the news before, but I seriously doubt that I'll have any problems with him. And it's so funny when I want a contestant to do poorly, because when they knock out the million, everyone is so upset. But not me! ;D

I know people from certain areas of North Carolina don't sound like that. She must have been from one of the smaller towns? Boy the Banker was evil to her though. It was kinda funny though. 'It's a crit'er! I can't go ova der wiff da crit'er!' Heh. I dunno...I was kinda in between on her. I honestly didn't care either way. But next week's guy? Oh yes, he was on the news a lot here. He saved a man from Massachusetts who was having a seizure from getting hit by a subway. It's an amazing story. Here's an article about it: www.cbsnews.com/stories/2007/01/03/national/main2324961.shtmlI really hope he does well. That man is a hero!
