Hope this is OK to post. It said not related to Deal or No Deal. I also belong to a horse message board, Equichat. We have a large group, and the stuff posted in the morn, is 3 pages back, by night. We talk about horses, and also anything and everything. Members are in all different states, but we have made alot of friendships, and some of us have even met. We put together a benefit, for a girl that fell off her horse, and is now paralyzed. We are a pretty tight group. So, I thought maybe we could get to know one another on here. I thought I would start. I no longer show my horse, she is 12 yrs old and retired. I have had her since she was 3 mos old. She is a palomino Appaloosa. I have 2 show cats, Prowler and Smokey. They have been to shows all over NY state, as well as shows in MA & PA. I have a show in NJ in 2 weeks. Tell me about your pets, or your hobbies, and I look forward to getting to know you. Hope you all have a great holiday.

I am way too broke to afford a cat, but I'll give you a beautiful story of a cat that belonged to my neighbor. Most of my friends know about her, but you will probably love this.
I used to see a cat by my laundry room that was all white and she had a pink collar, and one eye that was blue and one that was green. She used to lay out on a wall and I would walk by and pet her because I love cats.
I never knew what the cat's real name was but since the eyes were so unusual, I would call her "Rainbow" because of the eyes. This started an interesting tradition. Whenever I'd go to put the laundry in the washer, I'd look for Rainbow and when I saw her, I'd hold out my arms like I was greeting an old friend and would say "Rainbow!!" and the cat would come towards me and say "Meow!!" and would do that up to THREE times whenever I saw it.
When the cat finally got over to me, if she saw my thumb, she would start to lick it. If she couldn't find my thumb, she would lick the back of my hand which I liked because I would pet her with my other hand.
I saw the cat for about 6 months until her owner moved and took her away from me. To this day, I still love cats, but I think there will be only one Rainbow.

I have like 20 (maybe not that many) cats. They're all barn kitties. I also love horses. I have 3.
