Freakin' wow. Just plain wow. I could feel for her. Laura seemed like a very nice person and deserved that kind of cash.

She definitely did. It was neat to see someone win.

It was a cracking game, given her awful start, knocking out all the other big sums of mony. She really deserved the 250k, especially as her mum died not too long ago, so she really wanted the money and she got it. The three boxes opened in that last round were the 3 most important boxes ever opened in the history of UK DOND.
BTW, Sarah on the West Wing is psychic. She has predicted where the money is 3 times, and she has been right everytime.

It's about time! But that £45,000 offer at the end seemed rather unfairly low in my opinion, I think it should have been at least £70,000-80,000. But then again she might have dealt if it were that high, so I guess it's a good thing it wasn't! ;D

That offer of £45,000 is by a considerable distance, the lowest ever offer at the 2-box stage with the 250k still in play, and there was another red in play.
The banker is very inconsistent - on a 10k/250k he offered one guy £70,000, but another contestant got an offer of £107,031.
In the game following Laura's game, Craig played and had no monetary offers until the 250k went in round 4, so the first 3 offers were swaps. Craig went away with just £10.
