In Cleveland, the daily syndicated version is a single-run episode that airs at 7:30 p.m. on WOIO (CBS) Channel 19. "Deal or No Deal" is on opposite the following:
WKYC (NBC) Channel 3 - "Entertainment Tonight" WEWS (ABC) Channel 5 - "Jeopardy!" (w/Alex Trebek celebrating its 25th year) WJW (FOX) Channel 8 - "Seinfeld" (a classic NBC sitcom)
Let us know when and where you watch this version, and if you're in a TV market w/ a single- or double-run episode. Any competition among the other syndie shows, game shows, etc.?

I think I'm in good hands.
In the Philadelphia area, DEAL runs alongside the news. WCAU (NBC) Channel 10 - DEAL KYW (CBS) Channel 3 - the news WPVI (ABC) Channel 6 - the news WTXF (FOX) Channel 29 - the news
Notice a pattern? Deal or No Deal vs. the News?
I also watch Reading., PA station WFMZ, Channel 69. The show airs at 4:00 and 4:30 pm.

Does "Deal" compete w/ your local news or the national/world news (Couric or Gibson)? I thought your NBC affiliate started news at 6. What time does Brian Williams air?
I heard that in Philly, there has been a "shake-up" involving both of the local news anchors last summer at CBS' KYW Channel 3. Go to NBC's Cleveland affiliate, www.wkyc.com, and click on "community" and search for the blogs of Frank Macek, news director at WKYC-TV 3. There, you'll find a story about KYW. Former KYW anchor, Larry Mendte, has a wife who once worked at the NBC station in Cleveland from 1994-1997.

WLBZ (Channel 2) in Bangor airs it in Maine. I don't get this channel, though. The only way to get it in my neck of the woods is to be a cable subscriber (Time Warner). I have Dish Network.
On the Dish (by way of another company), the NBC affiliates I get are WXIA out of Atlanta (4:30 pm ET), and NBC11 out of the SF/Bay Area (12:30 pm PT/3:30 pm ET for me).

I get Syndie Deal or No Deal on my local FOX at 7:00pm. Goes up against Wheel of Fortune on CBS, and Jep! on NBC, ABC, I believe has Extra on that time,

Thanks to most of you members who replied to my post on the TV channels, location and schedule about the daily syndicated version of Deal or No Deal. I can't believe that it's already almost 2 full months since the show's debut back on September 8th, the only week I personally watched all 5 eps of "Premier Week." Hopefully, I'll get to hear from you, the other members (current and/or new to the board) that haven't replied and guests on when & where you watch Deal.

A little change from last time: The SF/Bay Area NBC affiliate (NBC 11) moved syndie DoND to 12 noon PT (3 pm ET for me). Single run. (Its old slot is now taken by infomercials.)

That's interesting...I watch NBC11 OTA and DOND has always been at noon PT since Day 1 (except Election Day when it was shown at 3pm). Not once have I seen it shown at 12:30pm. I I also watch Reading., PA station WFMZ, Channel 69. The show airs at 4:00 and 4:30 pm. So for the double episodes is one of them a repeat of the previous week or any random episode?

Tuesday 1/20/09 Inauguration Day
Any pre-emptions surrounding the daily version of Deal or No Deal in your area regarding Tuesday's events for the Inauguration of Barack Obama? I watch NBC's news coverage about the Inauguration after I came home from work, and the following schedule for Cleveland, Ohio was the following between 7pm and 8pm while channel surfing:
NBC (WKYC Channel 3) 7:00pm Extended coverage of Brian Williams and NBC News (pre-empting Channel 3 News at 7) 7:30pm A special local edition of Channel 3 News w/ anchors Carole Sullivan & Eric Mansfield (pre-empting "Entertainment Tonight") 8:00pm Regular NBC primetime programming, until 10:00pm and Brian Williams comes back on for coverage of half of the Inaugural Balls happening in Washington D.C. along w/ more updates, interviews, etc.
ABC (WEWS Channel 5) 7:00pm and 7:30pm had extended coverage w/ Charles Gibson and ABC News (pre-empting "Wheel of Fortune" and "Jeopardy!") followed by one (out of 10) of the LIVE televised Inaugural Balls with many musical guests and talent
FOX (WJW Channel 8) 7:00pm More local extended coverage from the 6:00pm broadcast of Cleveland's own FOX 8 News 7:30pm "Seinfeld" 8:00pm "American Idol"
CBS (WOIO Channel 19) 7:00pm and 7:30pm had more coverage from Katie Couric and CBS News (pre-empting WWTBAM and DOND) followed by CBS regular primetime programming and more LIVE Inauguration coverage

The SF/Bay Area NBC affiliate (NBC 11) preempted the noon showing of DOND at noon PT on 1/20. NBC showed the Inauguration until 2pm PT then cut to local news for an hour til 3pm PT. CBS gave up around 2pm but ABC stayed til 3:30pm PT (almost the end of the parade) and resumed Inauguration coverage at 4pm PT until local news at 5pm PT.

The Dish has switched its east coast feeds to New York City. So I get the double bill on WNBC at 3:00 and 3:30 pm ET.
