Monday's episode of Deal or No Deal will be two hours long. Regis Philbin is scheduled to make a guest appearance...or a few of them, to be more specific.

Now the bad news: The President will make an address to the nation Monday night at 8:02 pm ET. NBC has decided to shorten DOND in the Eastern & Central zones to approximately 90 minutes. On the upside this probably means they'll cut out much of the filler they had planned to run and stick to the games.
Viewers further west likely will see the intended show, and all two hours of it.

Also keep in mind CNBC re-airs DoND Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8 pm and 11 pm ET. So for those of us in the Eastern Time zone (and possibly the Central one), waiting till it reairs on CNBC may also be a good option, in case we (in general) want to see the "missing" 30 minutes.

I wish the presidents would learn to interupt the news. I mean you already know they'll cover it so why not pre-empt the news?

I wish the presidents would learn to interupt the news. I mean you already know they'll cover it so why not pre-empt the news? Yeah. Just finding out that the President will be talking about the recent immigration news is making me sick. Somehow I wish this could be done in the 7pm EST hour so we could see the entire thing. I guess this can't be the case now, if you get my drift. Here's to hoping CNBC will show all two hours when they repeat the show.

Honestly, any State of the Union by any president regardless of party can basically be summed up as follows:
'Our country has certain issues right now and we're working to fix those. But overall we're doing great!'
According to NBC's website, DoND will start at 8:25 (Eastern). So, maybe closer to 95 minutes of the episode will air. As the Central feed goes out the same as the Eastern, that means the Central Time Zone should see DoND at 7:25.
Fox's schedule will also be delayed due to the President's speech but ABC and CBS won't - just an FYI.

Over here, we've just got Two and a Half Men filling in while we Canadians wait for the network to flip the switch

Well, I won't get into what I think of the speech. I just thought that sucked that you guys got pre-empted.

Well, if it helps, it looked like the games were shown, pretty much, in their entirety.
