Today my mother picked up an issue of Shape magazine out of the recycling bin at the post office. Inside was an ad for Ford (of sorts) and the October 19 episode of DoND, which will be somewhat devoted to breast cancer awareness. The models in the ad were sporting special t-shirts and holding pink briefcases. As soon as I can I'll scan the ad and post it here. Edited: Here it is!

Yeah, I noticed on the site the contestant that night is a cancer survivor.
Cool, neat to see the whole pic. Part of it is on the NBC site but you can't see all the models you see there.

Was once the beautiful Case #9, but then who knows. NBC might bring back the primetime version.

"Deal or No Deal" Upcoming Episode this Friday devoted to Breast Cancer AwarenessAs you may know that I'm posting messages related to this coming Friday's "Deal or No Deal" in hotpink and/or pink. I will use pink to highlight important website links mostly related to Breast Cancer Awareness or anything that has something to do w/ the show that's pink, like some of the models' dresses, for example. Why the Pink "Channel 3" Logo for My Signature?pink logo image is at the following link: i8.tinypic.com/62p5qns.jpg NBC Cleveland affiliate WKYC Channel 3 (click on the "Friend to Friend" link sponsored by National City Bank), along with many local & national businesses and partners, are proud sponsors of this annual community fundraiser and race event The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. The event is held in Downtown Cleveland on a Saturday morning in the middle of September, and draws thousands of runners & walkers locally, and from all over the U.S. Most of them are survivors (themselves, family members, friends, etc.) and supporters of this disease. In Cleveland this year, September is devoted to Breast Cancer Awareness, and nationally it is for the month of October. That is why I've used the pink TV-3 logo as part of my signature throughout the months of September & October."Deal or No Deal" Models in Magazine Print Advertisement for Ford Motor Co. Thanks for the downloaded link, Shelly!! I have to say that I love it!! I can't wait for Friday's episode when everything is in pink (Howie's shirt & socks, models' dresses, briefcases, lights on set, etc.) Although the theme can be serious, at least the girls do have a message to send to everyone, mostly women; and the featured contestant is a breast cancer survivor. More to this in a upcoming post in this section. Why the Color Pink?I'm your average guy!! Pink is "the new black" for me, and I have a few neckties of that color, or a shade of, that I wear to cocktail parties that go well with my navy suit or sport coat and white dress shirt. Remember Donald Trump in the Season 3 Premier of Deal or No Deal when he was filling in for the vacationing Banker? He was wearing a darkish pink tie that night. Seriously, for the color itself, I support this awareness and hopefully many supporters will raise money to help find a cure for breast cancer, and that we give all our love and support to those who are survivors and fighters.
