(Model sheet update later this week.) Hey, Shelly!! After watching Monday's show of "What's the Deal Week" on DoND, I was just wondering how you found out the last names (spelling and all) and especially the spelling of the first names of this week's guest/fill-in models standing at cases #9 & #12 respectively.
Thanks!!

First I went to Wikipedia to see if there was anything there (search for "deal or no deal models"; there's a chart there), then a Google search (a regular one and an image search) for confirmation. When watching, I make mental notes of what each girl looks like. (Plus, the models' names are usually listed in the end credits anyway, so I could've found our their names that way, too.)
As an FYI, when I do model updates, I list only the changes in the lineup (if someone's subbing for a regular, or if a regular is back to their position). That's why I didn't mention Diana was still at Case 12 for Tuesday and Wednesday.

"What's the Deal Week" (Week of 12/10/07)To correct you, Shelly, that Kathy girl was still at case #12 filling-in for Jill on both Tuesday & Wednesday of "What's the Deal? Week."
Backtracking to the Friday, November 9 "Green Week" episode, the "unknown model" that I mentioned standing at case #18 (filling-in for Marisa who held case #5 that night) I believe was Diana. After you updated the model profile, I gotta picture her face.
Thanks for the information on how you found out the models' names, spelling and all. I watch DOND regularly on NBC (and sometimes the reruns on CNBC) and the credit rolls are too fast. Watching it on CNBC, sometimes, you have full screen fast credit rolls on a black background while the theme music is playing. That is if CNBC doesn't have any promos for their other shows.

Friday (Dec. 7) - Summer-Themed Episode14) Pilar (in position) 26) Kendhal (for Lindsay) I missed that "Summer in December" episode when it originally aired on Friday, December 7. I did my laundry that night, but my mom watched it. I didn't want her to tell me the results of the game at all.
I was looking forward to seeing this particular episode on a CNBC re-run on Saturday December 8 after coming home from dinner w/ my family. (December 8 was my younger sister's 23rd birthday.) What showed up on CNBC that night was the completion of Jed Dodds' game from Season 2 (10/20/06). He's the contestant who brought some zoo animals on the set.But on Tuesday, December 18 at 9:00pm, CNBC started re-running most recent episodes, thankfully, and the "summer-themed" from December 7 aired. Now, I'm all caught up w/ this season's DOND. You mentioned the line-up, previously quoted above, Shelly. Thank you!! But, there were others that were missing. After watching "What's the Deal Week" last week, I can now picture models' names and faces that were filling in, and these two substitute models actually made their debut on Friday, December 7.
Case #12 - Kathy (for Jill) Case #18 - Lisa L. (for Marisa)

Time to add two new girls to the model sheet...
3) Aubrie (for Lisa G) 23) Crystal Monte (for Aubrie; h/t to Wiki for the last name). Apparently she was also on the Christmas episode opening some of the gifts.
Also on the Christmas episode as a gift opener (via Wiki) was a gal named Yanet Acosta. She's not substituted for anyone yet; but I'm going to add her to the model sheet, too. *nods*

She's not substituted for anyone yet; but I'm going to add her to the model sheet, too. *nods* When "What's the Deal Week" finished on Wednesday 12/12/07, DoND was off NBC's schedule for the remaining nights leading to the 2-hour all-new Christmas episode. The reruns of Season 2 or most recent episodes would show up on CNBC from the 13th through the 24th of December. Also on Christmas, part of the model line-up for the night, and in position for both games, was the return of Jill (case #12). Lindsay (case #26) was there too; but since both games played w/ only 25 cases for the occasion, she was considered "out-of-play" and the $25 amount on the game board was faded.
Merry Christmas Yes, there were extra models seen as gift openers for the evening, during the carolers' singing of "The 12 Days of X-mas" segment, and also babysitting in the "Deal or No Deal Day Care" for the newborn sextuplets of Jennifer Masche, the last contestant of the night. During the gift opening, I recognized Alison Waite, this season's alternate model. There was a redhead, and I wanted to know, if that was the other Lisa that filled in a few times early on in December. The other girls earlier in the show were unknown or known (Hayley, Krissy, Megan, Tameka, etc.) and have just had their cases picked. One unknown, in particular, looked almost like April Scott (the former case #14).
On the (insert a number: 1st, 2nd, 3rd ... 10th, 11th, 12th) day of Christmas, my Howie gave to me, a (insert name of gift & cue the models opening and modeling the gifts)!
Howie was really being generous this Christmas giving away lots of stuff to each and every member of the studio audience. In total for each member of the audience is 12 gifts in all. The eliminated briefcase models also assisted in going to audience and distributing those gifts as well.

It would re-air on CNBC on 1/1/08. We ushered in 2008 with more all-new episodes for January, starting w/ another edition of the "Million Dollar Mission" on January 2nd.Happy New Year ...and the start of the [glow=black,2,300]Million Dollar Mission [/glow]Wednesday 1/2/08No changes in the model line-up. Everyone familiar is in position; although honestly, I was looking at how beautiful Patricia is that evening. ;D Thursday 1/3/08That substitute model at case #23 you mentioned is Crystal. From one of my previous posts, she almost resembles Season 1 regular and former case #14 April Scott. Crystal had one of the 3 $1M cases for that night. Not a very good start for her having a big amount for the first time!!
